"You really have to look—even at Vitafoods—for what the source is, let alone what the types are," Monheit observed. "If you don’t know what you’re looking for, you’re still not going to find it." Dicker concurs, suggesting that this will be a crucial factor for brands seeking to stand out in an increasingly crowded market. "Look for brands to try to differentiate sourcing: premium, trustworthy, transparency," he advised. "You’re going to see a few ingredients just keep rising up, because they’re gonna be the ones that are actually working for people." As consumer understanding and brand innovation converge, the collagen market is set to move beyond its established identity, embracing a future defined by scientific nuance, diverse applications, and transparent sourcing.
